Now that Jay's problem is solved, I'll tack one on the end here. My tail lights work fine with the turn signals and with the parking lights. But when I hit the brake pedal, sometimes only one tail light gets bright. Sometimes it's the left, sometimes it's the right, and sometimes both work just fine! What's going on here?

something has to be loose. i would get someone to press on the brake and then start wiggling wires until i found the sport where both of them worked. that would tell you where the problem is. my guess is to check the grounds first. and the inside of the sockets.

Tony, it sounds to me like it might be the Turn Signal Switch is not getting completely centered when it cancels... Try stepping on the brakes and wiggle the turn signal lever a little and see if it gets worse/better...

If it Looks good and Works good then it's ok by me. Everything has its issues from time to time...
