Just wondering if the wiper switches are all the same in 67 through 72 bumps

yes just the bezels change some what in the script that is printed on them.

i am unsure i thought you had to use a little box with the switch to make the delay thing work. i dont know i havent paied that much attention to a wiper delay to know if you can only use just the switch. i think it also has to do with how the switch turns . like the seller says it turns the right way for a delay.

I'm with Fordman, I think there is some kinda wire-wound resistor or something that has to be attached to step down voltage to make the intermittant or delay thing work. I researched a tad when my wiper switch was on the fritz, but I took my switch out of dash, pryed the plastic and metal apart slightly and squirted real good w/electrical contact cleaner and worked back and forth and in and out on the potentiometer shaft and installed a replacement knob (Fender telecaster guitar volume knob) with a much more positive feel and bang, mine works great. Of course, it's high and low, no delay deal.....

i done a search with basketcases link. it looks like the switch you posted is correct but it is missing the delay box as well as the wiring and plug for the back of the switch. try his link it worked great. it showed 5 delay setups including the one you posted mike.

I'm with these guys...

The intermittant wiper switch won't work without the relay box.
It doesn't work just hooked up directly to the harness... at least the one I tried didn't.
I'd just get the whole set up, either at a wrecking yard or on ebay and do an upgrade from the original...
It's well worth the few dollars more to upgrade to an intermittant switch rather than replace a stock 2 speed switch.
You can do like Banjo said...
Remove the switch cover, there should be 3 little tabs that need to be bent up for the top of the switch to come off...
watch carfully how the parts come out, 'cause you can put one part in backwards...
If you do, it won't work...

I did that on the bus switches... after taking them apart and cleaning them and getting them reassembled the correct way, they worked like a champ.

I just converted my 1968 F100 to 1973-1979 dentside intermittent wipers so I have the original switch out of my '68 if you are interested in it.
