Hey Dan, they are 2 speed and also park themselves... We got real close to getting them to work but the way the motors are wired using only 3 wires to do all this, the control from the intermittent wiper switch (controller) wouldn't let it work right... It needs that 4th wire from the newer style park function to make it work right...seattle67 wrote:Hey Kaptn, just curious, your bus wipers, are they only 1 speed, or do they not park themselves?kaptnkaos wrote: The truck motors have 4 wires, one for power and the other 3 for functions. Thanks Thunderfoot.

Re: re: changing the "wipers" switch
That's the bad part... the only way would be to convert it to the 4 wire style wiper motor (if possible to mount it in place)... Kaptn started to go that rout but the old ones on the Bus didn't want to let go of there happy home (parts stuck together) so he let it go and put it back together. He was able to rebuild the stock switches and got the wipers working like normal again...seattle67 wrote:Thanks Thunderfoot.

Well were this part is located up under the dash, it's in a place that shouldn't get too dirty and should stay dry.Rob-a-Billy wrote:Besides Ebay, is there another source for the "delay relay"? I can get the actual switch from Blue Oval Truck Parts.com, but what about the actual relay and mini-harness/loom? I would like a "new" one; not rusted and used.
Is there a part number on the relay to cross-reference?
