I was looking at the other items that he/she (I am as PC as you can be ) is selling. I think they must work at some machining plant and are doing a little side work or have a very expensive set up at home. Either way I am getting a bezel. Thanks again for the tip.

That is a neat tool. Don't know if it's $14 neat (pretty good with my bentnose pliars)...but neat nonetheless.

last time I tried using my pliers, I slipped and scratched the bezel. Therefore... hellooo bezel tool.

Plus, I like having a tool in my toolbox that will make people 40 years from now say "what the heck is this?"

Hey guys,

I've been exchanging messages with Kathy at skoobyzzstuff.com ... these folks really sound like they are on the up & up.... they sound like they'll stand behind their stuff and are honest.

Anyhow, they apparently have grown from a 900 sq ft shop into a 5000 sq ft shop over the last 15 yrs. They have CNC Milling & Turning machines and as of 06 are completely solar. Normally they sell wholesale to other dealers... she said if you read streetrod mag (I do not), then you have probably seen some of the parts they make.

More importantly, Kathy said that they have been looking for ideas for new products, so she wanted me to let ya'll know -- if anyone has any ideas for helpful parts or reproduction/replacement parts, let me know and I'll pass along the ideas!

Hmmm, I wonder if anyone would be interested in an aluminum dome light bezel? ...................naaa, it would never catch on.

haha! Naw... I'm not going to feed them Jamie's ideas and work... that's his baby. I think they would be more interested in any specialized tools, but if there is a part or item that needs to be reproduced, they might be able to do it.

Thanks guys. Actually I'm following in there footsteps, looking at CNC vertical machining centers to set up in the garage.

Ironically enough if there part doesn't fit let me know. (Maybe I can make something better)

This tool will allow you to more easily remove the bezels on our trucks (for the ignition, lights, wipers, choke, etc.). You can use needle-nose pliers, but they tend not to work as well and you risk scratching or digging into the bezel. If they are on tight, they can be a pain in the rear to remove because you have to work around the switch shaft (excepting for headlights, which removes). This tool will slide right over it, and is shaped so you can put a wrench on it.

I got mine yesterday too. Although I haven't physically checked the fitment...

It looks to me like it will fit, and appears to be made of 304 stainless steel.

Nice tool for sure.

How big is the one you got? The one I received is about the same size as a permanent markers diameter. Maybe 2" long
