Mine is an '80 some thing seat in the pics below the blue suare is the '80 some thing track and a stud goes thur that hole. knck the stud that comes thur that hole out of the seat frame and the stud(in red square on the 67-72 seat tracks) slips right in. Any thing center to center measurments on said studs that match the '67-72 will bolt right in.

re: 72 seat upgrade
I did the following with seats from a mid-80's Crown Vic...
![Image](http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/aa88/auburnce98/72%20F-100/72f100012.jpg)
![Image](http://i203.photobucket.com/albums/aa88/auburnce98/72%20F-100/72f100009.jpg)
I used the mounting brackets on the seats by fabricating a perch using square tubing, angle, and long grade 8 bolts.
These sit a little high. I should have cut another 3/4 inches off the perches. These would not have worked with a stock steering wheel. The small wheel allows room for clutching and no rubbing of my thighs. They are quite comfy.

Check out my website for what I did.
I used a 94 seat and tracks, just mounted them to the original brackets
