wiper motor clip?

Post by 4th effie n counting »

So yesterday i attempted to remove my wiper motor... i removed 3 bolts and a hat nut, i can feel what appears to be some kind of clip but i can't get the bugger off.
I was wondering if any body can post a picture of the assembly, it seems someone said they had some out. I dont want to remove whole assembly if i can avoid it, since i would probably have to remove heater and all vent hoses to get it out.
thanks David

so here's how to remove it; 1: get a little screwdriver up under the flap pry it up just a bit, the tab that keeps it from sliding is about 1/8 " 2: slide it over and lift it off, you're done it will fall right off. just wiggle arms loose remove motor. YAY i did it

no problem... i tried pulling it every which way... when i got it finally i saw that if i had known what it looked like, and how to remove it, i could have had it out in 5 minutes.(after getting bolts out that is)
So I thought i'd share what i learned.
