Got a wiper delay on the way. The round chrome bed rails look pretty good. Also the toolbox comes in handy.

I'm planning on putting lights on the underside of the bed rails to light up the inside of the bed. Maybe a set of ground effect lights.

my :2cents:

Tru Trac ( at least that's what I think it's called! It's been so long since I've seen my baby I'm starting to forget, or is old age, or the lack of beer for 9 months, or ... never mind) locking differential.

It wasn't that expensive, and it gave me a reason to get into it to see what shape the gears were in. Turns out a few things were worn and about to break.

I don't have any pics at the moment, but I put a DC to AC inverter and mounted it in the tool box under the Bed of a camper special. I can open up the door, pull out one of the cords and plug in lights while camping or anything. There is warning that lets you know when you have to start your truck and re-charge the battery. It is also nice, if you need power out on a trail somewhere to fix something. Another good thing is I hid all the cables under the truck, you can't even tell it is in there.

 we adjusted them. remember? I backed the truck out onto the street, then we both stuck a screw driver in each of the headlight doors and adjusted them until they were good and werent almost crossing eachother. its not like you did it by yourself like you make it sound like. not a big deal at all but just wondering why you said that.

Let's see, the best mods or upgrades I've made so far on my '68 CS

The first one would be going to radial tires from bias ply....
Next, would be the intermitant wipers...
Next, would be upgrading the brakes from manual to vaccum assist...
Next, would be the recent power steering up-grade...
Then, going to the pointless Pertronics...

Of those, I gotta say the PS upgrade was the best thing so far...
That really makes it feel like it is a differant truck...
I don't know how I got by for the past 20 years with out it... :D
