Dash - Bolted or welded in

Post by twday »

Are the dashs in the 1967 - 1972 trucks bolted or welded in?

Thanks

The metal dash is welded in to the firewall and the sides of the cab. I think it is with spot welds. The cover, of course, bolts on to the metal. Hope this helps.

Kieth has some really good pics of one he did...
There are around 100 spot welds that need to be drilled out in order to remove the dash itself.
