Hello,
I was sitting in my truck this morning thinking of what else i wanted to do for finishing touches to the interior. I love my new custom dome light, so i have an idea that i bet everyone would jump on if its worth it to ya. how about an aluminum handle to replace the tacky black plastic one on our ashtrays? this would go over well with the street rodders and the guy that has a totally stock dash with every piece of chrome ford offered back in the day. Just a thought. I would buy one for sure.
Thanks, Steve

Steve, that has a lot of potential, small, easy to made, and cool looking. I'm going to do some floor shifter boot rings and try to do a aftermarket CD player bezel, am considering some knobs for the lights etc. The ash tray handle would fit in easily as well.

Thanks,
Jamie

Oh yeah, you won't have to worry about buying one if they wrk out...

Hey, here's an idea...
How about a billet license plate frame with the website address milled into it?

Billet liscense plate frame? That's up to Keith. The mill will do it, but I don't have the program yet (or the mill at home for that matter).

Copied the thread from the general section:

:D Figured it's time to let you guys see where your dome lamp bezel money is going...

Hope to have it home in about two weeks for $10,500. It was auctioned on eBay Dec 12th for $6000 with no bid with a $8,500 reserve but I didn't know what I know now. It was owned by Black and Decker, the program and spindle were upgraded early last year to do 3d high speed moldmaking and then B+D moved some equipment and sold it back to EMI. Only complaint is it only has a 18"x axis and 12" y axis so I can only do small batches of parts, say six or nine dome lamp bezels at a time.

Thanks,
Jamie

Any opinions on a polished billet ash tray door pull? I have the drawing about half finished, still figuring out how to fixture it to do the cuts. It's actually harder than the dome lamp bezels...
