heater hoses

does any one have any pics or good ideas about hoses that go from engine to cab the feed your heater? the hoses on my 69 look like crap it looks like a red garden hose. so any suggestions and info on what hoses can be used would be helpful.

you can get 5/8 heater hose in black or red i think.

Fordman is right.
I have the Goodyear red colored automotive type heater hose one of my Fords.
Without jinxing myself... I know the stuff is like 15 year old hose that I've moved from one truck to another. :thup:

SOLD-71 F-350 dually flatbed, 302 / .030 over V-8 with a "baby"C-6, B & M truckshifter, Dana70/4.11 ratio, intermittent wipers, tilt steering, full LED lighting on the flat bed, and no stereo yet (this way I can hear the rattles to diagnose)! SOLD!

I've got the same "red garden hose" in mine... LOL! It's not the prettiest... especially when everything else is black/blue.

The question is, WHERE do you get it (heater hose)?

well if anyone knows were to find please let me know and i also want to know can you change the fittings so you dont have ugly hose clamps

Pretty much any auto parts store will have heater hose on a reel and will cut you off whatever length you need.

I think the red goodyear stuff is the topend or the blue stuff. Supposted to last 7 times longer? So the website says, it's all I use.
