Hi, I hope someone can help me...
I have recently purchased a sweet 68 ranger with very low miles and after driving it for a few hundred miles (I think it sat in a garage for a long time) I am having some electrical probs.
When I fire up the engine, I get no turnsignals, radio, heater, or gauges (except for am meter). They do work when you turn the key on though, just not when it is started. The dash lights, cigarette lighter, and cargo lights work however.
Any ideas? Thanks!

Hi tibeaus68...
Welcome to the forum...
That sounds like the ignition switch to me...
The contacts inside the switch get corroded and won't make contact....
That's an easy inexpensive fix... just about any parts house should have the replacement for that...
Good luck....
