I think mine is KD brand? It was a really expensive one nearly 25 years ago when I bought it and it is totally effortless. I've pulled maybe 6 steering wheels in total in that timeframe, but it sure makes it easy. BUT, as I mentioned, most of the chain stores have really super nice pullers in sets they'll let you use on loaner tool program, all you have to do is secure the loaner tool with your credit card and they refund the money when you return the tool.

that looks like the junk chinese one i have. it doesnt work worth a blank. i used a balancer puller on my steering wheel. it worked a heck of alot better than the one i have like that.
