When the heater switch broke in my '67, the PO decided that it was easier to remove the wires from it and hook them up to two toggle switches instead. The original heater switch still controls the air flow, but it does NOT control the on/off or high/low functionality. The toggle switches actually work well, and one glows which is helpful in the dark, but they look crappy because they don't match, and I want it to be 'right'.
SO... I obtained a "new" 67 heater switch (the one on the left) from Mike J, and am ready to try and swap it in. Only, I can't tell what should plug into what. The switch has three prongs on the back of it. I'm assuming one is high/low, one is on/off, and the other ground? Can someone tell me which color wire (or color combination) is supposed to plug into which prong?
This diagram was the only one I could find that referred to it, but I can't tell which one goes to which prong from it, either:
