I don't know, most sound deadeners are heavy to absorb and dampen vibrations. I'm not sure how lightweight neoprene would do. I think it would work well for direct sound absorbtion, say inside the door skins, but I don't think it would do as well as a heavy product would.

fomocoguy,
Here's a good one on it: http://www.fordification.com/forum/view ... ight=sound
I also remember one of our members here using a spray/brush on "Koolseal" type application inside the cab.

I suppose it's gonna be tuff to tell what works better when no matter what people do they get an improvement! I may just go to Lowes and look for that roll out stuff. Peel and stick sure would be easy inside my doors though.....

I used Damplifier on the whole Cobra interior.
Butyl based product, sticks like turd to a blanket.
Made a big difference in road noise. Cars solid and floors are only .040 aluminum. What you don't want is a asphalt base product.

Well, I haven't driven it yet, but the knock on the roof and floor and slam the door test shows promising results! Once the snow clears in a few days I'll drive it and let ya'll know.SoCal wrote:So whats the verdict, fomocoguy? Did it make a big difference?
