alternator
What is the biggest amp alternator you can get and still stay stock. Up to what year will fit our trucks and do you have to change regulator.

re: alternator
You can get a 100 amp alternator that is just like what the truck has now or buy the parts to convert the one you have. Here is one on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/POLISHED ... enameZWDVW you don't have to change the regulator for this just plug it in. You may want to up the size of the charge cable to the battery...
You can also go the 3G rout http://www.fordification.com/forum/view ... hp?t=13062 which is an internal regulator so you eliminate the stock one...

re: alternator
I got one from them a year ago and put it on my 68 Mustang and it has been working great! I think you'll be happy with it, plus it's Shiny
