The 68 F-100 4x4 conversion has begun!
I've recently purchased a 76 F-150 4x4 SWB frame that I'm going to put under my 68 stepside body. It came with both axles, steering componets, and a 6" Rancho lift that I picked up for only 400 bucks Here's some pics.

Hey John your camera makes your shadow in the picture look weird. You better check that out. Either that or your baseball hat must have some strange flaps on the sides.
Looks like a great start!

Hey nadams, Down here in Texas, we wear these funny things called "Cowboy hats". They have brims that go ALL the way around the edge of the hat Anyway, I've been busy stripping down my parts truck and gettin' ready to start buildin' here's a pic of the donor.nadams wrote:Hey John your camera makes your shadow in the picture look weird. Update: sorry its been so long since I've updated, ben busy with homework and working, but here's a list of things I've done so far...
pulled the brushgaurd, grille, and front and rear driveshafts from parts truck.
I'm fixing to pull the NP435 tranny and NP205 t-case, I drive the truck that I'm in the process of converting, so I'm just doing little odds-n-ends and getting ready until spring break rolls around, than I'm going to have some of my friends over for a little cab liftin' party
more updates and pics soon

Sorry guys, I hit a snag, here's the deal, I'm currently doing the little boring stuff (brakes, etc..) on the new frame. Once I get all that done, I'm gonna wait until spring break (third week of march) and I'm going to get the major stuff done (body, engine etc...) So bear with me and stay tuned for more updates guys.
