Halogen headlights???
I just cruised down to Kragen and checked out the halogen headlights in anticipation of brighter bulbs with my new wiring harness (coming from 390nut). Anybody have any opinions on the best bulbs for a 1972 F-250 two wheeler? They seem to run from$15 to $25 each. Any difference in outlput from your experience? I drive a lot on two lane road with deer and other wildlife, so bright is good without blinding the on-coming trafic.

I love those X-tra vision ones. Can't recall who makes them, but just about everyone carries them. Nice white light with wonderful coverage not only on the road but to the sides of it as well. I run those on everything I have that takes sealed beams.
Great for just about everything, from driving twisty mountains where you need to see around the curves to rain and fog. And I have never had another vehicle complain about them.

I've got the GE ones in the Ranchero and like them.
Seemed like about twice the normal light output to me when I installed them.
And the longetivty has been good so far, (bout' 3 years on the bulbs).

re: Halogen headlights???
Well I installed 390nut's wiring upgrade and the halogen lights from Napa Auto and I can see much better. Plenty of light and the color is white instead of yellow. Coverage is good and I haven't hit any deer yet which is a problem in my part of California. My daughter hit one doing 50+ in broad daylight with my 98 Ranger and sent it flying across the road. Other than fur stuck in the bumper and the bumper being pushed back a little, no real damage. But I digress.....

I have Wagner halogens in mine, and they're pretty bright.
I put those Silverstar bulbs in my wife's Honda Odyssey because we do a lot of driving along country roads and dark Interstates. In my experience, those are HIGHLY susceptible to vibrations and do not last as long. I emailed the company about them, and they replied and admitted as much. I was a bit ticked off by the whole thing, but after replacing like 4 of them, I finally switched to their mid-grade bulb.
