How many have had luck with used wiring harness'
Just curious how many of you guys have used wiring harness' from donor or salvage yard trucks? I don't have the money to fork over for a new harness. I can probably redo some of my wiring. Wanted some feedback from those who have had luck, or other alternatives. Thanks

if anything you can take the old harness and remake it with all new wiring. done this on a couple old vehciles
I don't really care about brands Chevy Ford Dodge ...as long as it doesn't sound like two old dudes farting in a coffee can.

As long as it looks unmolested and the last 6 or 7 po's haven't turned it into a tangled rat's nest i'd have no problem with it.

Bear in mind that if you use tha harness from a '70 to '72, the connector going to the instrument cluster won't work with yours. The '67 thru '69 will work ok, though. There is a tech article with pictures showing the differences on this site.

Noted guys. I appreciate the feedback. The wiring in the dash looks pretty good. The wiring coming from the firewall is what I would like to redo.

You're after the under the hood stuff for a '67? I may still have that, I'll have to check on what shape it's in.

Yes, and be sure you use a harness for full gauges or half gauges if that is what you have in your truck. To the best of my knowledge the harnesses are different if you have full instrumentation versus having a vehicle with the OIL and ALT lights in the instrument panel.
Check with the others about this because I know the harness in a 1967 or 1968 Mustang is different with the OIL and ALT idiot lights than the one with full gauges.
