The little clips the screws go thrue! to help hold the bezel.

I have about 3 of them that are busted so the screws kind of want to fall out.

That looks awesome! Glad it worked out, and glad you got a good deal on it! Wish I could've used that $75-off, but it'll come around again. Maybe next time I'll have some funds.

That firewall cover looks great, too... where'd you get it? I also like your seat... was that custom, or did you buy a cover from somewhere? If custom, what kind of fabric is that? Is it itchy?

Firewall Cover is from NPD I think I had a page on that to but I don't know where its at. It might be in the photos. My paint/body man put that in and when he did he has some stuff on the truck that needed to be off so I just told him to do a little trimming but ya can't see it and it was near the top under the dash.

And the seats covers came from NPD, there the ranger XLT style. I have no clue if there itchy I've only drove the truck one time and that was back to the body man to do some more work, And the truck is not done, Still needs some more buffing and just a bunch a little stuff thats why no one on has seen photos of the outside of my truck. I don't want any one looking so its been in the shop away from ever thing lol. But the inside is all most done, I still need to put the old A/c back in and the radio and box I made, It fits under the a/c so it can all ways get taken out really fast.

The Cluster is from Dc I think lol or its from npd but npd sells Dc clusters so it does not matter.

Its saddle tan AS FORD SAYS lol They only had that color for 2 year and it was just for are truck 70 71 so ya never see that color much, maybe in a junkyard.

I told ever one I was going to have all black and chrome inside and they did not know what to think of it. But I pulled it off, It just worked I have no clue how lol but one thing is no one else has that Interior one of a kind.

I don't know if that color was only for two years. It looks a lot like my 72. I just finished a dash pad install. It was a second-hand off eBay, so it doesn't fit quite right; it kind of sags over the left of the instrument panel. I'll try tomorrow to loosen a few of the nuts and see if I can move it back any. Here's what it looks like:

Teacherman, do you have any pictures of the back of that dash pad? From the looks of it (shiny-ness), it looks like one of the Cal-Mustang dashpads that are known for poor 'fitment'.

If you have some pictures of it, I'd be able to tell from the way the vents were attached and the mounting studs moulded in. The vents on those were just screwed/bolted in from the back. Also, was the dash kind of "floppy" when you went to install it? Those did not seem to have the steel insert that the official repops available at DC, Whitney, NPD, etc. have. They were also very "shiny", because instead of a vinyl covering over foam, they seemed to be formed from an injection-molded process or something.

It was for only 2 3 years. All I have to do is ask my friend that work on the Ford line from 67 to 90 something up in Ka Mo. There is a color that is a shade lighter then mine and there really hard to tell the diff.
