new wiring harness

hello everyone i have a 67 f-100 with a shot wiring harness does anyome knwo how to to make one i have been thinking about doing it my self to save some cash

i'm sure it could be done with ease. you just need the correct size wire the old plastic connectors and some of the inner metal pins for the plugs.

What you propose is not impossible, but by the time you get it built, you'll have a tidy sum invested, and even more time. IMO, by installing a used OEM harness, you retain correct color coding (for troubleshooting in the future,and save alot of time as well.

While we're on the subject, anybody got a source for the harnesses? I need the one for the turn signal switch.

the one in the column or the part that hooks to the column?

The one IN the column.

you will need to get a whole new switch for it then. the wires and switch are all one piece. unless you are real good about replacing wires on the old switch

Nah. I looked at the connection on the switch and it's not feasible to redo that kind of connection with a BFH and a screwdriver I'll just adapt, improvise and overcome! Thanks for the input!
