Headlight switch knob..

Post by Darrman »

Ok, I have all the dash switches off except the headlight one. I understang how to take the switch off the dash, just cant get the knob off.
I am guessing it has a pinch on the back of the knob, but picking at it with a paper clip got me nowhere. Any body know how to get it off?

Hey Darrman,

On the bottom of the switch, there is a little button push that in and the knob will come out.
Sometimes, you has to twist while you pull on the knob...

its on top of the switch you have to reach your hand up under and around to the top of the swicth to get it to depress. then you just pull the knob out.

Been there done that got the t-shirt, wore it out and then did something else silly and the guys here still help me out. So dont' feel to bad D-man, I asked that question and how to get the horn ring off on the three spoke wheels. I felt right dang stupid when I was told how to do it. But the one thing I learned, its easier to ask here and feel dumber than a stump than to break something and have to buy a new one. :fr:
