re: RUBBER FLOOR MAT QUESTION
wow....what are the odds? Yep, that's an E-bay photo. I don't save every one I see, but I saved the pics from this truck because of the floormat and the underdash A/C.

re: RUBBER FLOOR MAT QUESTION
Sorry I so late on this one only made about 1300 miles last week .Ask Chris where I was when he called me Monday. When I did my '72 bout 15yrs ago I used the JC Whitley mat and I was pleased with it , although I don't have any pics of it interior wise, I ran into an old friend of mine today and way back when his wife took some pics of it in front of the fire hall to finish a roll . He says hasn't been to long ago he remebers seeing them and he is gonna get Lisa to look for them . He has a bunch of old sixty stuff , and when I gave him a card he started asking questions . Chances are he will pop in here .
Bob my friend has a 2 ton 66 flat bed rolloff he is trying to find parts for , he says he need a master cylinder and other than that the truck is a working truck and belive me he will use it when he finds a master cylinder. Bob's daughter had a sweet 68 or 69 lwb when she was in college . By the way if it don't say Ford on it it don't stay at Bobs house (unless it is fire apparatus )
Any how the mat I got from Whitney was worth the money back then haven't had any dealing with them recently

re: RUBBER FLOOR MAT QUESTION
has anybody ever use floor mat from a rubber company? in eugene there's a company that sells everything rubber it seems including rubber floor mat in rolls and i mean hundred foot long rolls all different tread patterns on it and different thicknesses. Seems like a good idea to me. as soon as i get my holes in the floor board fixed i will check it out even further.

Re: re: RUBBER FLOOR MAT QUESTION
Nope. Mine was a Standard interior with black dashpad and black floormat with the lightning bolt. The paint code was 2, Lt. Ivy Green/New Lime. (More of a light yellow color.)Joe Kriston wrote:And so the saga continues....Ok how about this?...Maybe the factory floormatted trucks with the color-keyed interiors had the lightning bolt...In other words,if yours had a green or red or tan or blue dashpad, you got the matching color-keyed floormat with the lightning bolt...If your dash was black, like on yellow or white or hugger blue trucks and many two-tones,then you got a plain black floormat w/o the 'bolt...Door panel colors and dashpad colors weren't always the same...Hey,...it's only a theory...

Lighting bolt rubber floor here. 1969 F100 4x2, 360, 3 on the tree, originally white/green two tone, standard model, all of the original bits of the interior are either white or black.
Unfortunately mine has seen better days and will probably be replaced.
