I believe even the most basic AM does have a single bulb, as I put one back in my truck to fill the hole and look stock many months ago and noticed it had a bulb, which I didn't change because I didn't even hook mine up, was merely filling the hole to look stock instead of the hideous cassette player in there. I'd imagine same size bulb as those in the dash/heater control panel??

PM me as I have a lot of the original used stainless steel ball bearings for the bottom of the ashtray. They're easy to replace but patience is a factor in doing it and make sure you have a clean area for when they scatter all over the place, took me about 5 trys before I got them in.
