Back to ol' Gray Mare(Cause she ain't what she was no more)!

Post by rjewkes »

Well today was a nice day and i got out from work around 3:00pm.

Got home removed my tail gate and set it aside used the truck to clean the dead branches and other junk items out of it.

Then got the gate cleaned up, sanded, primered and sparayed Flat Black/Flat white.

I even straightened out and am considering a respray of the black on the Gate cover that says ford.

Is it flat or satin black?

any ways a recent before pic:

And later after on the gate and maybe after once on the truck. might give The bed the roll in liner treatment.
Whjere'd the gate go?

And the outside put the stripe of white right where the old blue stripe was now to find the whole set of perimeter trim.

I don't want to give em a heart-attack. That is what would happen if I answered the door in the buff. Heck it almost scares me to death when I step out of the shower and look in the mirror.~Mancar1~

Sme new pics work done today man that roll on bed liner dries fast at 72*F.

Driverside painted to match the gate a little clean up where white and black meet is in order.

Some more of the rear. Here you can see i tried the roll on bedliner. i guess if i move a hair faster next time and brush it in between the ribs in the bed and around the bends and joints it will come out better.

Left rear corner from behind For some reason this spot and the cab corner was easy to get a clean split between the colors on. :dk:
