carpet/seat color

what would be the right colors for the seat and carpet for a maroon 72 ranger XLT? Pic is of what's there now. Except the seats been changed.

hey convincor, the carpet is actually red under the mats and seat. its just that hump that is that tan color. so i think you can see the original color under the mats, but i dont know if its original or not. its weird. youll see once you get it.

the red carpet should match the dash color real closely. my truck does and it has the original colors in it still except for the recovered seat.

yeah ok, so once you get your truck convincor, under the mat and the beautiful green seat you will find the color of what the carpet should be.

I kind of like the looks of the tan carpet.
Thinking all red/maroon may be to much.
Thinking made doing tan carpet with a saddle seat?

yeah id keep the tan so everything isnt maroon. it is maroon trimmed too :thup:

saddle seat sounds good
i cant wait to see the truck when your done fixing it up (not that it needs much!)

You should get a seat like mine if your going saddle. I still dont know what it is about the seat but I get more compliments on it than the rest of the truck. Its bouncy too lol.

i just put new carpet,seatcover,door panels and painting the steering wheel next week. the door panels,wheel,colum,are napa red and not the parts store. seat cover and carpet are dark red. cover is npd. and carpet is acc. all looks good and matches. yes i know :nopix: i am trying to get you some this weekend.

How was the fit & quality of the NPD cover?

lt looks good. the seat guy did it for me. it's not 100% original but is close. the inserts are dark red or maroon and the edges are a shade lighter

Did the cover come with the buttons or did you have them from your old seat??

yea I was looking at the covers online and they say they don't come with the cover, have to reuse you own..
I'll be needing a couple.
