re: Painless Wiring Harness?
No, they're not exactly painless, but it's something that most people with some mechanical aptitude can install.
I installed one on a 36 chevy street rod I had and it was easy squeezy, but I have some advantage in that I'm an electrician.
Electricity seems to intimidate people, as it should since its sole purpose on this earth is to KILL YOU UNSUSPECTING PEOPLE!! Just kidding, that's just a myth we electricians spread to enhance our God like image.
Anyway, take your time, follow the instructions and call the tech support if you get confused, and for sure don't cut any wires until you have them all run and have double checked they're where they're supposed to be.
Painless no, but yeah, you can do it.

WE used the ron francis kit and it went just fine under the dash all gauges , fuse box head lights to tail lights. Kit # xp-724 ,1967-1975 ford trucks it has more then you may need but if you want to add on some extras you can with out doubling up on fuse links also there is switches on the fuse box that you can have some circuit's work with out the key if you like to do so. The kit came with all the sending units ,oil ,temp, speed, fule , indicator lights ,dome light kit and head light switch .And all leads were long and had to be cut so nothing had to be spliced together, very ease to install just time consuming but well worth it !
