Interior Colors
Trying to figure out what color to do the seats for my truck. The cab (including dash) are painted red. I had thought about doing the seat red and white, but I have black armrests, black visors, black door panels. I know, I know, as long as I like it thats all that matters, but I'm curious what you guys think about the some of the ideas pictured below.
The exterior:

Here's the seat I have. I'm redooing the foam, so they can do the shaping/fabric in any style. I'm thinking half vinyl half cloth, but not sure yet. The wood will be painted to match the seat.
Here are some seats I saw that caught my eye

Seat 2:
Seat 3:
All thoughts and ideas welcomed

re: Interior Colors
Another vote for seat #2, mostly black with the red inserts and the red piping looks

What do you guys think about the fold down part in the middle? I was gonna paint the wood black. Do you think the little arm rests should be black or red? How about the rest of that middle seat/arm rest area? Should we go all black for the middle seat, or do it just like the driver & passenger seat?

re: Interior Colors
Myself, I would go all black on the middle seat... The arm rest should be the same color as the ones on the doors... I would probably leave the wood like it is as paint seems to scratch and chip easily then it looks bad... Unless you use some tuff epoxy paint maybe.

Black center seat. You could sand it smooth just like you would a body panel, paint it, and then clearcoat it with a few coats of gloss or satin clear (preferably with a gun).Thunderfoot wrote:Myself, I would go all black on the middle seat... Oh yeah. Seat #2 has my vote. Seat #1 is in second place but I like the black headrests better.

I don't want to give em a heart-attack. That is what would happen if I answered the door in the buff. Heck it almost scares me to death when I step out of the shower and look in the mirror.~Mancar1~

Sounds good I think we have a winner!Supermike wrote:Seat #2, no cloth (will fade), red stitching, black center, sand the wood and stain it black, then put a clear coating over it (something that will protect it from water but will not yellow out).
