you will also need the wiring warness to make them work..i made mine from just the factory ends , some wire ,and about a hour of studying the wire diagrams on this site
I don't really care about brands Chevy Ford Dodge ...as long as it doesn't sound like two old dudes farting in a coffee can.

re: FYI-DOME LIGHT SWITCHES
Well, I went out and checked, and there is no evidence of any sort of switch or button. Yes, there is a dome light and I traced the wire all the way to under the dash. It is not plugged in to anything, but put a hot to it and it lit up!
Now I am confused.

re: FYI-DOME LIGHT SWITCHES
This shows how they are supposed to be wired up http://www.fordification.com/images/sch ... lights.jpg sounds like someone removed part of the wire harness that goes to the doors and light switch.

If it Looks good and Works good then it's ok by me. Everything has its issues from time to time...

Re: FYI-DOME LIGHT SWITCHES
Bump--this link is dead. Can anyone update?
I bought my truck the other day, went out tonight to find out I have all dash lights and dome light working! So stoked, but no door pin switches, or the bracket they mount on.
I'll check the junk yard, unless someone has a set they'll sell? I love opening a car door and having the light come on...
Oh, and I need to get one of Jaime's dome lights--is he back in business? No new updates in a long time that I can see.
