My local NAPA thought I was crazy when I went in and asked for this part: (Copied from this website) The marker lamps on F100 thru F350 trucks are controlled by an 18-amp relay which is operated by the headlamp switch, and they should not be loaded beyond 18 amps. See Wiring Diagrams and Related Info for factory-recommended tips on hooking up additional electrical devices in your truck.
Does anybody know where I can buy this relay, or one that would work, or do I really need it to run marker lights on the cab?
Does anybody know...

Is that heavy duty headlight harness from the guy on here that makes 'em or the one from LMC?

Hey price2757...
There a couple of them on ebay now...
You want a marker light relay...
They were stock on F-250 Camper Specials and F-350's...
I don't know if they were a stock option on F100's or not, but I'm sure they could have been special ordered.
I'm sure there would not be a problem making a jumper from the front running lights.
390nut's Headlight harness's are definately a great simple upgrade.
I've got one on both of my '68's (the CS and my bus). certainly well worth it.
remember if you have the older style the markers lights go off when you turn the head lights on, but you can make a little jumper wire and bridge 2 connections on yer light switch to keep them on.
I really think you would need to draw more amps than what would be drawn from 2 side marker lights to cause any problems, when I hook up my camper, I add a lot more lights than that without any problems.
