firewall cover install??

can someone give me some info on installing a fire wall cover?it looks like a pretty involved job. i've been looking at the ABS plastic one that LMC has and mine needs replacing bad. im going to start paint work in the cab this fall and would love to replace the firewall cover then. THANKS ! for any info!
