Sending unit for Aux. tank, in frame, 70 F250 CS ?

Post by RockFish »

The factory, in-frame auxilliary tank on my 70 CS needs a new sending unit. I checked NPD, they didn't appear to carry it. I checked LMC, and while they list one, they note that it fits their replacement tank, but not the original tank.

Anybody know where I can get one to fit my original tank ? Have a working one you're willing to part with ?

I bought a tank and sender from them... the sender and mount are the same as the original aux tank. The sender I got included a lock ring and O-ring in the same box.

Interesting ...

The catalog makes it sound like it won't fit, or would have some other problem.

Fortunately, I found a good one at a junkyard last weekend. It's in and working well.
