re: wiring harness
Got a painless in my 46, and in my 69. Soon to have one in the 68.
Why the "painful" ref?? I've never had an issue with a painless harness.

I have a painless harness in my 66 mustang and both the efi conversion harness and the mustang chassis harness was a breeze to install.
I am installing an EZ wiring 21 circuit harness in my 67 F100 right now and so far I like it, a pretty easy harness to install especially since its universal. I also love the price at $135 on ebay. I looked at the painless harness but at $450-$650 depending on what you get and where you get it I took a chance on the ez wiring and like I said at $135 I am glad I did. Oh yeah this harness also has the extra wiring for an electric fans, fuel pump, power windows and locks, and other things.
Did I say I am happy with my EZ wiring harness.

Re: wiring harness
I have a question on this kinda too... (I am not sure if I shoudl be bumping an old thread or starting a new one..)
Anyways... Do those 21 circuit universal ones work for EVERYTHING in the truck? like is it going to replace all (or most) of the wires from the taillights to the headlights to everything in between?
I dont really trust any of the wiring in the truck, and would like to have all fresh stuff. So would this do the trick?
