Instrument Cluster out of a 61-66 ford work???

Do the instrument clusters out of older ford truck fit becuase I found one out of a 61-66 Ford truck is the dash opening the same because i guess i can figure out wiring for the gas gauge since that's the olny one i use.

I believe that the pre 1967 instrument panels are different enough size that they will not interchange with 67-72. Even within the 67-72 series the wiring is different between the late and early years. I believe that the heavy trucks panels work until '79.
