Wiring Diferences

Post by FordTruck »

I may be doing a bed swap on my 70. I will be taking a 71or 72 bed i can't rember witch, but will there be any wiring differences btween that and my 70? I know just taking a cab off of one 70 and putting it on another there where a few differences. I just want to know what to expect if I do the swap.

No, there shouldn't be any differences. The '70-'72 trucks had the rear clearance light, so the wiring will have provisions for that, something that the '67-'69 beds don't have. But since you're using a '70-'72 bed, you're fine.

Ok good.

Now I gotta decide if I want to do the swap or not.
