Need help intendifying this

Post by mnagatani »

I am getting my harness back together and I need some help tracing down where this is located and what its function is. Any suggestions?

Thanks all

Yep. When you attempted to pull the connector on the glovebox-mounted emergency flasher switch, you actually pulled the guts out of the switch too. That's what's sticking out of the end of that connector. It's a fairly common occurrence, but the chances that you'll be able to reassemble it are not good. You're probably just going to have to replace the switch.

So, that's the deal with the 67. I noticed the same thing over the glove box and wondered what it was. Now Keith has done it again and enlightened me. Never really worried about it being the truck still ran OK and no lighting problems. No big deal being as the hazard switch is now on the 74 column and working, but cool to know what is sticking out of my hazard plug. Thanks Keith.

Thanks for the reply. Any suggestions if I dont run the emergency flasher? Where does that set of wires go to without the ER flasher?

As long as none of the wires are bare you can tie the back to the main harness. For my :2cents: I'd keep the emergency flasher. They are real handy if you get a flat or something. :)
