Turn signals
I put a 73 or 74 auto steering column in my 69 in place of the 3 on tree column. My problem is I can't get the turn signals to work now. I know they worked in both trucks before change over.Does the hazzard flashers have to be wired to the new column for the turn signals to work right? I have the brake lights working but no signals.Does anyone know which wire go to which wires from 73-74 column to 69 harness.I can only find info on interchange on 78-79 columns and wires are colored different on them. THANKS

Re: Turn signals
Just found out my blower motor is not working now either. Everything worked before I tried to wire up my steering column .the truck I took column out of signals heater and everything work before I stipped it down, and everything in the 69 worked before I changed column out.I screwed up something but don't know what.and yes I checked all fuses.

Re: Turn signals
The 2 (heater/turn signals) aren't connected to the same circuit (fuse) so not sure what you got there... The power for both comes from the ignition switch to the fuse box, did you check to be sure you have power on both sides of all the fuses, with a test light or volt meter. If you do, check the Blue wire at the connector for the turn signals and see if you have power there (it may flash on and off). If you don't have power at the fuse box, then something with the wire from the ignition switch to the fuse box is bad or the ignition switch itself...
