Help with outside door handles!!

I just bought some New Old Stock Outside door handles that I was told for a 1971 Ford F100 and I don't believe they will fit.
Can anyone tell me what they may fit....I can't find and Ford Original Parts list on line. The Part numbers on the inside of the handles are: D3HB-8022401 AA, and the other is D3HB-8022400 AA ... They both have cast numbers as well....1880061 RH CAV 2, and the other I can barley make out it's 11159 LH a1C1 I think.. Any help would be appreciated..

Well, if I figured right from the information in the tutorials (http://www.fordification.com/partnumbers-body.htm) the it sounds like it is possibly for a '73. If you have a picture of them we can get a good quick answer I do believe.

I don't know why it would say that, The pictures are for public use..... I have still yet to figure out how to post directly to the Forum.... I've tried and tried and I must be leaving something out..

It was my fault I think, the computer thing is still somewhat new to me. What doesn't look right to you about them?

They appear to big larger than the one's already on the 71'..... I've only have pictures of my truck right to base it on, as the 71' is 2 hours away being restored.... The door handles I've seen in Lmc and Dennis Carpenters books are smaller than the one's I bought off ebay..... So that leads me to believe they aren't the right ones.....But I could be wrong...

Hmm, I will measure mine later for you and we can see if they are longer. It could be a while as my brother currently is using my '72 and I don't know when he will be back. Hopefully we can figure this out. I am pretty certain that you have the right ones, but not positive.

i went out and measured a 71 they were still on the truck. they measured almost an exact 8 inches.

The ones I bought are 9'' long and 2'' 1/4 deep........

my guess is that it fits a f750 or larger truck.i couldnt find it in my master catalog. but i couldnt find hole in the ground on that cd.

Yes, the "H" in the number shows it as a part for a heavy-duty truck, so as you've figured out, they won't work. Sorry, you're just SOL on this one...you'll have to find some light-duty truck pieces.
