Steering wheel horn ring removel

Hey Guys....any one know how to remove the horn ring on my 70' cs...Thanks, Dave

edit oops you said 70 so i thought you had a horn bar. not a horn ring.

To remove the horn ring you should be able to just push down and turn it counter clockwise.

'70s wheels are still the 3-spoke design. The two-spoke version came along in '71.

i guess why i was thinking that was because the steering column length at the top of the column. the extra nub.
