they don't work. new switch ,checked continuity from light to switch and that is good but no power coming out of switch same goes with another switch i have
these electrical problems are minor but causing me to lose my mind

i know my dome light wouldnt work and i never even thought to check the switch... mine was a ground problem with the housing its self...
You might wanna take a look at the switch and see if the metal resistor...spring looking thing inside the white round ceramic thing makes contact the whole way around from stop to stop

fixed it good fuse but bad connectiontook awhile to figure out but i got it

housing its self .... glad you fixed it.... I my self built a wiring harness from part of a factory ends to make the light come on with the doors
