MSD Blaster 2 with points

Post by Frankenstein »

Is it ok to run a MSD Blaster 2 coil with points on a 390 or will it fry something? Im going to upgrade to the Petronics kit next pay day but right now I have a busted Dist. stud on the coil and a new MSD coil on the shelf. I can't remember the last time I had something that still had points in it.

It won't matter unless it needs more resistance than the stock wire has on it.

Found it It says .7 ohms and we are 1.6 so it is okay
