My 69 had the same flat connectors as the original unit, male and female.

Okay i knew they changed but I don't know when. Was yours on wires? Mine is on the printed circuit board strip. I get 3.5 volts and it is frozen and I can't adjust it anymore.

Yep, 2" wires with the flat connectors on the ends come out of the body which is a little cube--1/2"x1/2"x1/2". There is a picture on page 146 of their on-line catalog.

I saw that my 69 had something similar but I never had to adjust that one.

Thank you for the link

Oh, sorry, I just noticed you have a 71, I have an extra dash (printed circuit) that I now remember seeing that kind of connection in. Not sure what year it is but I guess 70 or later as I seem to recall reading that's when they changed to the printed board. My 69 has the wiring and of course the wiring and plug are different so I decided to find an original 69 for mine and try to sell the printed circuit board. I just didn't want to try to sell it 'til I did some reserch to be able to tell what year it came from.
