I'm installing some horns I just bought and my harness only has the one wire for a single horn.
Can I just splice onto that wire and run it over to the second horn? These are the original HI LO horns.
Thanks for any help

i think orginally the plug was a dual typof plug. i havent looked at my truck in so long that i have forgotten. but you could just use a male tab iside of the female plug when you plug it onto the lo horn and run that wire over to the high horn.

Yeah, 69rangerman..
You should be able to do that no problemo, That's all the original one is, they are just tied together in a series.

Re: Splicing for second horn
Don't splice, it is cheesy! LOL The way Ford did it was very clean, take a male spade connector and crimp two wires into it, then each one of those wires goes to a horn with a female spade. It is very clean and easy. Also, if you want, you can get a jumper wire from any bump or dent that has one already, they are easy enough to find. Hawkrod

Re: Splicing for second horn
Thanks for keeping me on the staight and clean path Hawkrod!
I spent half of today up under the dash finally getting lights to my tach, oil, and temp aftermarket guages, and most of that time was cleaning up the wire routing - looks much nicer.
I tested, and painted the horns fordman sent me (thanks fordman - haven't had a beeper since I bought it!) and resolved to do what you just recommended. I'll stop at autozone Monday and get the goods.

Re: Splicing for second horn
When you look at the Dentside pickups in wrecking yards look at the top side of the radiator support. IF the truck had dual horns there will be a single wire running across the top of the radiator support. Trace the wire back to the source and unplug it, then carefully remove the tabs that hold the wire in place on the radiator support. That will be the feed for the second horn along with the factory end that plugs into the truck's harness and the original regular horn.
On my truck I trimmed two of the three molded rubber sections off of the wire that held the tabs on the wire that I got for my truck. I left the center tab and used the center one to keep the wire in place on my radiator support. If you find the truck had dual horns a lot of the time the clips will both be in the radiator support that held both horns in place. The Bumpside has the hole in the radiator support for the threaded clip that holds the second horn, or at least the 1968 does.

Too many projects, too little time, but.. lovin' it!
