the steel insert can be chromed too. i wish the plastic ones were metal too i like the way they are with all the cross bar and seperators for the guages. if they made chrome ones they could be just chromed also. i also suppose you could get the plastic rechromed someplace. but i don't know where at.

That new plastic one looks nice and all, but I still like the metal ones better...
IMO they look really sweet chromed out, with the U's on each side painted black...
Somewhere, I have a pic of one done like that.... If I can find it, I'll post it.
I'd rather have one of those than the F-600 style that I have in my truck now...
