What vehicles had the 3g?

What vehicles come with the 3g alternator? I have run across a few but just wanted to see what else I should keep an eye out for.

Quite a few during the Mid to late 90's but some are different configuration that wont work. Check out the 3G thread at the top of this forum http://www.fordification.com/forum/view ... =8&t=13062 the last info I found for the ones the right size to fit I listed the info at the end http://www.fordification.com/forum/view ... 30#p337434 There is also a lot of info on the internet on this swap as well, just do a search for "3G alternator conversion".

98 mustang V6. fits our trucks with little or no modification. Mounting legs are in the correct position. You might have to take .060-.090 off of the back of the drive pulley for a perfect alignment, depending on your brackets, alignment of the stars, etc....

This is the list from ford. I going to assume this is the complete list as its from the source. I do believe there are other 130+ amp alternators out there but they are not the 3g with this part number.
