am/fm

finally got home the other day and got to look over my truck today. it has a sparkomatic am/fm radio. was this an option, or just a po modification? oh. it is a 71 sport custom. :D

sparkomatic is a aftermarket radio. the sport custom is a mid range trim package. below ranger and explorer i think. but above custom or standard cab. you should have wide middle trim lower trim a tailgate panel. and the sportcustom bed emblems. plus maybe a few other things i didnt mention like guages instead of light in the cluster.

Sparkomatic is an old k-mart brand i believe. Haven't heard of one of those since my high school days, think it was a low cost but good unit.

Been so long ago i think i remember seeing them at several retailers, I'm sure i bought mine at k-mart cause that's all we had at the time, we didn't even have a wal-mart. Me from small town :lol:

i think but i can't confirm this. but sam walton or his wife used to own kmart before they sold it and opened up walmart.

Yeah we don't have k-mart in our area anymore. I liked going there for my fishing stuff.
