Re: blinkers?
my 69 has that same problem, although my 4 ways work. im pretty sure we decided it was the turn signal switch. cant promise cuz i havent put one in it yet. have you checked the flasher for the 4 ways?

Re: blinkers?
It should be 2 seperate problems... The right rear not working is more then likely the Turn Signal Switch... You can test this out with a test light, just check for power on the "Green" wire at the connector at the bottom of the steering column with the Right Turn on, it should flash. (also does the right brake light work? if it does and the turn don't, then this also points to the TSS)
On the 4 ways check the flasher for it as 70shorwide said.

Check the "Red-Black striped" wire on the Emergancy warning (hazard) switch for power (flashing) when turned on, this is the output to the rear lights, it is also connected inline with the brake light wire... It is wire number 810A on this diagram. http://www.fordification.com/images/sch ... _81-85.jpghotrod ford wrote:ok, found a loose wire. the front now work with flashers on but back still don't

Re: blinkers?
To remove the TSS from the column you have to remove the wires from the connector, using a connector pin removal tool. You can get these at some part stores NAPA should be able to get them for you. (see picture below of what the set looks like) Some have been able to use a small screwdriver or tooth pick to release the pins from the connector.
Make sure you make a chart of what wires go where to help you put them back
Then just 2 screws hold the switch in the column.
The manual column will have the same TTS as an auto.
