Post by sport71 »

Has any one bought a catalog dash pad? If yes could you let me know how good they are, and are they worth the $$$?
Any pics of them?

The ones sold by Dennis Carpenter, NPD, and JCWhitney are all pretty much exact OEM replicas made from the original tooling. Look for the "made from original tooling" stamp:

I know someone on this site bought one from JC Whitney in the last year and it looked great. The price on them has gone up, but you can usually score free shipping and a percentage off if you hit them around the holidays:

Thanks for the follow-up! Man... looking back, you sure got a deal. Those dang dashpads have gone up every year, and significantly over last year! By the time I have the $$ to buy one, they'll be $1000! :(

Thanks, great pics of your dash. I will be getting one from JCW. I linked on to the coupon page, and I was going to hit the button today. First I told my wife that I had already bought it, she got a little upset. I just had to see how she would react, so I would to know if I could buy it or not today. (NOPE)
I'll just have to wait till she gets mad :x at me for something, and then that's when I'll hit the button, she will already be mad.
