self cancelling turn signals?

My turn signals dont self cancel are they supposed to?

yes they are suppose to, but the little plastic arms on the turn signal switch always break easy
I don't really care about brands Chevy Ford Dodge ...as long as it doesn't sound like two old dudes farting in a coffee can.

I think I remeber seeing a turn signal repair kit on summit's website. Would this work? My signals won't cancel either.

i know you have to replace the cam with the little fingers on it.. it takes some soldering and making sure that every thing on it is hooked up right.

i just have a habit of turing it off after i turn since all my vehicles do this even my newer ones... espically left turns

Something I added to my 72 is a chime that reminds me the signal is still on. I'm a bit hard of hearing and often can't hear the flasher so I grabbed the chime out of a scrap Volvo tractor. :D

Beep, beep, beep is better than hearing " dad, turn signal " :lol:
