yep its a dx959, one of the other hobbies my wife would like me to get rid of. and as soon as some money frees up im going to get the lmc headliner and install the c.b up there.

I thought it looked like a 959. That's the radio I want REALLY BAD!!! right now I got a tuned up Cobra 29 NW WX ST it talks pretty good I can usually do about 35-40 miles with my 102 antenna.

yeah i did a of research before i bought it and for the money i think it was the best pick, it came peaked and tuned and running barefoot it does about 30miles as long as no one talking is running power. which is going to be my next investment

The olny way that my Cobra goes that far is because all my buddies have really godd base set ups. I used to have a fatboy 500 linear but I dropped it off at the CB shop and I was trading him firewood for work and one day he closed up shop and I no clue where he went.
