First Bucket Seat Installed

From a Bronco 2, welded a piece of spring metal from a scrap tiller, and made a bracket, and used one off a bench.

how well does it go back and forth the way it is? just wondering. that seat will work out fine in there. it looks the right height and everything.

Well like i cant go back any farther, But to slide up it will work I just need a stronger spring, which Im not too worried about, ill eventually get a pic of the other side and show you how I did it.

cool it sounds like you are doing good then. keep it up. someone needed to post up something like this. everyone is always asking but no one seems to understand how to make a bracket to bolt the seats down.

You can check out the following link to see how I fabricated some brackets to mount a pair of Ford Probe buckets in the choptop:

Heres how I did it, i had a piece of spring metal off an old tiller, and I have one more for other side. I welded it on, welded up the old holes, and redrilled new holes. Im a big guy so i decided I wanted to make sure it would hold me up. I have to cut off the old ear of the 80s f150 bracket, and grind it and paint. But I think its not too bad.
